Work here

Ten patients a day. Not fourteen, not sixteen. One at a time, an hour each, with an hour of documentation time inside your shift instead of after your kid's bedtime.

We are not going to tell you Foothold is a family. We are going to tell you the schedule, the caseload cap, and the number on your paycheque, and then let you decide. Most of the therapists who join us are three to six years into outpatient work and are burning out on a productivity quota that was designed by someone who has never treated a shoulder.

The offer

Six things, all of which are checkable at interview.

Ask us to show you a clinician's actual schedule for last week. We will. That request is the single best filter a job seeker in this profession has, and almost nobody uses it.

01

A hard cap of ten visits a day

Written into your offer letter, not into a mission statement. If the schedule fills past it, the front desk books into next week — they are measured on that, not on utilisation.

02

Documentation time on the clock

Two 30-minute admin blocks inside every shift. Notes are done before you leave. We audit for this, and if you are consistently taking charts home your clinic lead is the one who has a problem, not you.

03

$4,500 a year for education, plus the days

Five paid CE days on top of PTO, and the money is yours to spend on the course you want, not the one we have a group rate for. We will fund residency prep and OCS/SCS exam fees outright.

04

Real mentorship for the first year

Every new grad gets four hours a week of paid, protected time with a board-certified specialist for twelve months, and a caseload that starts at six a day and steps up on a schedule you can see.

05

Ownership on the table at year three

Foothold is therapist-owned. Clinicians at three years are eligible to buy in on terms we publish internally — no options that vanish, no phantom equity, no vesting cliff designed to hold you.

06

Student loan contribution from day one

$400 a month straight to your servicer, no vesting, no clawback if you leave. DPT debt is the single largest thing standing between our profession and a sane career, and we would rather spend money on that than on a recruiter.

Culture, specifically

Four things we do, rather than four adjectives.

  • 01

Clinic closes at noon on the first Friday of the month for paid team training — case review, journal club, and someone teaching a skill they went and learned.

  • 02

No non-compete. Colorado voided most of them and we would not have enforced ours anyway.

  • 03

Trail Fridays in summer: if your last patient cancels after 3pm you are allowed to leave. This is written down because otherwise nobody believes it.

  • 04

You will be asked your opinion on equipment purchases for your own clinic, and it will be binding up to $4,000.

Open roles

5 roles, salaries published.

If a job advert will not tell you the number, the number is not good. Every range below is what we would actually pay, and it moves with board certification rather than with negotiation nerve.

  • Physical Therapist — Sports Rehab

    Boulder (Ninth & Elder)Full time

A caseload weighted toward return-to-sport: post-op ACL, throwing shoulders, and a steady stream of trail runners who ignored something for six weeks. SCS, or a clear intention to sit for it, preferred but not required.

    $48,000 – $56,000

Nothing here fits, but you like the sound of it?

Write anyway. We have opened a role for the right clinician twice and would do it again — and we will tell you honestly, within a week, whether that is likely rather than leaving you on a list.

Ask us for a clinician's real schedule.

Not the brochure version — an actual week, with the gaps and the admin blocks in it. We will send one before you decide whether to interview.
